So, we had our annual Lorey Easter egg hunt on Sunday and the Easter bunny paid us a visit:

Actually, wait, that's my friend Rodney Barnes. He just looks so much like the Easter bunny that I'm sure you won't fault me for getting confused.
We had a pretty full house -- about 25-30 people -- and the Easter egg hunt in the backyard was fun.
Here's my youngest son, Alex, looking around for eggs:

And here's a few other shots. We see Atom and Julianna and Britney and assorted others all in the hunt:

I also got to see a bunch of good friends from college that I hadn't gotten to reconnect with in a while, which was really great. We made ham and lasagna and people brought tons of side dishes and we just gorged. The weather was nearly perfect -- maybe a little on the warm side -- and the whole day was just a much needed break with people we care about.
Here's hoping your weekend was equally terrific.
Take care...

It's great how much kids enjoy the holidays. When I think about Easter, it's not a big deal, but then I'm sure that when we have kids it'll be time to break out the bunny ears and the egg dye again. ;)
